Colorful soft coral on boulder surfaces, accommodating parrot fish in all sizes, puffer fish and groups of lion fish. Good chance to encounter manta rays.
Breakfast Bend
10-40 meters
A wide sandy field with scattered rock formations full of stones and soft corals, reaching up to the surface. During the early morning hours, the chance for leopard shark encounters is pretty high.
Donald duck bay
4-18 meters
A bay on the west side of island # 8 where most boats up. Soft & hard corals on sandy bottom Tamed turtles come for feeding .Lots of crustaceans.
Beacon
7-33 meters
Hard and soft coral reef on a gentle slope from 5 to 30 meter. Due to of ten weak currents, it is possible to explore the whole reef in single dive.
Elephant head rock
15–40 meters
A breathtaking dive spot ! You can dive through a large city of boulders. Lots of swim roughs, caves and caverns. White tip reef sharks call this dive spot their home.
Deep Six
10–40 meters
A very nice dive site featuring large boulders, swimthroughs and vast coral growth deep down to the reef border. Reef sharks are often here.
East of Eden
5–33 meters
Sloping coral reef with fascinating underwater landscapes full color and variety. Many scattered rocks, partially reaching the surface. One of the best coral reefs around the Similan Islands.
Honey moon bay or Barracuda point
10–25 meters
A dive site with sandy and slope and large hard coral fields. A very calm and relaxed dive.
Fantasy Reef
15–40 meters
One of the most popular dive spots in the Similan, these underwater rock formations cover a huge area. The friendliest fish in the Similans hangout here, including clown trigger fish,normally a difficult fish to approach. Depths range 15 m. down to past 40 m. and this is one of the best dives for enjoying the grandness of huge boulders. One of the best dives. I love had here was a couple of years ago were we viewed at least 10 cow tail rays over the sand-some animals exceeding 3 m. in overall length-participating in a frantic mating ritual.
Shark fin reef
18–40 meters
A bizarre and very complex rocky reef with sleep walls and huge fan coral. Leopard sharks can be seen here often. Richelieu Rock
This open ocean site is covered with brilliantly colored soft corals. Home to Octopus, Cuttlefish and Schools of fished including Great barracuda. The site is world renown for Whale Shark sightings.
Koh Tachai
A colorful underwater ridge boasting colorful corals and fans. Turtles, Leopard sharks and Rays are commonly spotted. Often frequented by Manta Rays and Whale Sharks.
Koh Bon
This site features a 30+ meter vertical wall facing the southernwest cove and a step- down ridge. “cleaning station” often frequented by manta rays. Reef and Leopard Shark commonly spotted in the sandy plats. |
